Valerie, a beautiful young girl, watches over her cousin's place while he is away for six months. After meeting Lara – her girlfriend’s new girlfriend – at a party and immediately falling for her, they keep bumping into each other at the cinema; their story reflects the three Eric Rohmer films (A Good Marriage, The Green Ray, and My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend) they watch over the course of the film. 　　In this witty, frankly cinephile comedy, queer spaces are at the forefront as you follow Zaida on her nights out at bars, parties and art shows with her tight-knit community of lesbians. Rohmer's influence on Zaida's life is clearly seen throughout the course of her relationship with Lara; their secret love blossoms as they discuss cinema and their love lives while struggling to create their own art.
