The story of some young people who grew up in a working-class area in Zurich in the late 1950s. The plain living style of their educators is not on their wavelength. 鴨志田ユリナ(白石聖)、17才。明るくて、のんきで、将来のことをまじめに考えない、母・康子（矢田亜希子）とふたり暮らしの女子高生。いつもスマホをいじっている今どきの17才のユリナが、ある日発見した「しもべのしもべえ」というアプリを何気なくダウンロードする。その日から、ユリナが柄の悪い男子に絡まれたり、カフェで所持金がないことに気がついたり、困った状況に陥ると、どこからか中年のおじさんがやってきて、男子を倒したり、お金を払ってくれたりと、ユリナを助けてくれるようになった。おじさんはいつも無言であらわれ、そして無言で去っていく。おじさんはいったい誰なんだろう…？ そんなユリナの高校に、転校生の佐々木辰馬（金子大地）がやってきた。子供のころに仲の良かったタッチャンだ！　再会を喜ぶユリナだったが、辰馬はユリナのことなど覚えておらず、近寄られるのも嫌な様子。ユリナは戸惑いながらも、辰馬との再会によって子供のころの夢を思い出す。それは医者になること。いまのユリナの成績では現実味はほぼないが、ユリナは夢へ走り出す。謎のおじさん・しもべえに助けられながら、平凡だったユリナの学校生活は、友人の亜紀（矢作穂香）や多田（内藤秀一郎）も巻き込んで大きく動きはじめる。しもべえは何者なのか？　そしてユリナの夢はかなうのか？
