该剧讲述了遭遇灭门之灾的女主角苏瓷女扮男装，隐姓埋名，独自赴京追查家族案件真相。在探案途中，苏瓷与战功赫赫却因遭猜忌交还兵权，化名裴昭游戏人间的男主齐王携手破案，并与破案过程中结识的飞云山庄少庄主谢北溟和擅使毒药的鬼马少女董如双组成探案小分队。随着案件一步步升级，苏瓷的真实身份被揭开，洪谷之战的真相也渐渐浮出水面。探案小分队卷入朝廷的权利之争。真相、爱情、友情、亲情等重重考验接踵而来。
