《岁月的童话》又名《儿时的点点滴滴》，是由吉卜力工作室出品，高畑勋导演、宫崎骏监制的日本动画电影，这个纪录片详尽纪录了电影创作过程。

妙子今年27岁了，她向公司请了十天的假，到乡间享受向往已久的乡村生活。自此，她便常常想起了她五年级那一年的往事。一路上不断回想五年级时发生的往事，到达目的地后，迎接她的是一名乡村小伙子，比她小2岁的俊雄。 她开始了农民的生活，并乐在其中，向俊雄分享她小时候的点点滴滴，在乡间看到的景色都能勾起美好的回忆。两人相处甚欢，一起感受岁月流逝的痕迹。正在她要离开的前一天晚上，俊雄的奶奶竟向妙子建议与俊雄结婚，顿时又牵起了妙子的回忆……

1987年にマンガが連載され大きな話題となった「おもひでぽろぽろ」（後にスタジオジブリの劇場アニメも公開）。算数で25点をとって大騒ぎ、初めて食べたパイナップルに大騒ぎ…原作マンガでは、小学５年生の少女・タエ子の日常がコミカルに描かれています。そして2020年、タエ子は64歳になりました。30代の娘と10代の孫娘との同居がはじまり、人生が大きく動き始めたタエ子。娘との小さないざこざを抱え、孫にかつての自分の姿を投影し、「昭和のタエ子」に後押しされながら、「令和のタエ子」は、“女優になる！”という新しい夢にむかって１歩を踏み出します。 原作マンガファンに劇場アニメファン、幅広い年齢層の人たちが、それぞれの思い出やそれぞれのタエ子を重ねながら、柔らかい心をとりもどしてゆく。そんな魅力の詰まったドラマです。
