人気5人組アイドルグループ「ももいろクローバーZ」が主演を務めた青春映画「幕が上がる」のメイキングドキュメンタリー。2014年初夏、「幕が上がる」のクランクイン前。演技経験のほとんどないメンバーたちは、映画の原作者でもあり劇作家・演出家の平田オリザによるワークショップを受け、「演じる」ということを学んでいく。慣れないことの連続に戸惑い、不安と戦いながらも、やがて撮影初日を迎えた5人は、カメラの前に立つ。「幕が上がる」制作現場の舞台裏に約400時間にわたって密着し、「ももクロ」メンバーたちの涙や葛藤を記録した。

Filmed in Tokyo and Yokohama, of girls brings a variety of contemporary voices in resonance with two distinct female voices from Japan’s literary and political past. Both popular authors of their time—the period from the late 1920s on—Fumiko Hayashi and Yuriko Miyamoto both died young, in 1951. They each had a strong feminist and class consciousness as well as an impressive literary voice, but came from very different backgrounds and expressed their ideals through different paths.

Yuki Ozawa is approaching her 50's and she has now began working on her first serialized manga. The theme of her manga will be based on her mother's personal war experience, who was only a 12 year old girl at that time. Yuki wants to create a piece that will pass down the memories of war to the future generations. With her editor, Sato, she goes to Nagoya to visit her mother, Ai (Ozawaai) to learn more about her mother's experience. At first, her mother reacts negatively to Yuki's request but soon she begins recalling her memories of love, life and the lives that were lost because of the air raids over Nagoya.

映像配信サイトGyaO!にて、上野樹里が主演するロードムービー「JURI CINEMA SPECIAL ナニカ ～その旅がくれるもの。～」を現在公開中。このムービーのテーマソングをクラムボンが書き下ろしている。 このムービーは雑誌「Hanako」の新年特別号に掲載され、1月20日発売の次号から4号連載される「Hanako's JURI CINEMA ナニカとツクルの旅」との連動コンテンツとして制作されたもの。上野樹里演じる少女「ナニカ」が羊の着ぐるみを着た少年と出会い不思議な旅に出るというストーリーで、クラムボンの原田郁子も出演している。
