A year ago Ernella, Albert and their 10 year old daughter Laura left the country for a better life. They could not get along in Scotland so they came back. In the middle of the night they turn up at Eszter's, the sister's of Enella. Eszter, her husband Farkas and their 5 year old son Bruno live in better circumstances than Ernella's who struggle with serious financial problems. The two families have never been in real harmony with each other. Only Eszter's can feel that. Ernealla's love to be at Eszter's. Although they can't agree on anything. The question is that how the two families able to bear each other at Eszter's sublet and how long?

Written by the director himself, the story revolves around an “absent” hero: an astronaut lost in the emptiness of space. His absence is spoken about indirectly here, from planet Earth. He was the nation’s son, loved and admired by all. But he’s primarily always on the mind of his little sister Elsa, who’s the real “fully present” heroine in this story. Elsa has lived her life and her childhood by proxy, sustaining herself off the dreams and ambitions of her older brother and hero. He was her point of reference and her daily inspiration. While he floats around, somewhere up there, in the ether, Elsa also drifts, right here on Earth…

《非此即彼》为纪录式实验微电影。从宇航员与指挥中心对话、到宇航员与指挥中心失联、生命瞬间消失，由此事件（或通过此事件的时空对语）来解读生命存在之美。即，活着的意义、活着的支撑、活着的情感线、活着的期许和价值。 该片注重造型语言转换和综合材料的运用，有点切入主题，力争引发启迪、励志、感悟、想象等多种思考空间。 重在表达：光阴的流逝、生命的短暂，人要在非此即彼或别无选择中，学会珍惜生命的每一天、学会取舍、学会过平平淡淡从从容容的生活。 入围2014北京国际微电影节。
