1919年，随着第一次世界大战结束，被战火蹂躏的欧洲尚未恢复元气，旨在解决战争遗留问题和奠定和平基础的巴黎和会准备召开，中国作为战胜国之一，派出了时任驻美公使、全权代表顾维钧（陈道明 饰）等五人组成的代表团参加和会。然而在欧美各国以及日本等列强意欲重新划分势力范围的大环境下，中国代表团人数遭到削减、德国在山东的利益眼看也要落入日本之手。顾维钧在会议上慷慨陈词，驳斥日方无理要求，然而公理在利益面前显得多么脆弱。顾维钧好友肖克俭（何政军 饰）之妻梅（许晴 饰）专程赶赴巴黎，寻找投身爱国工人运动的克俭。克俭在法国的活动、以及国内浩大的群众呼声令和会中的顾维钧等感受到责任重大。

Maria Schell (Sophie) and Paul Scofield (Alexander) turn in magnificent performances as former patients of Freud who meet for the first time in Vienna in 1970. Sophie convinces a wary Alexander to meet after she sees him interviewed on TV about his experience with Freud. In their one-day encounter, in a reluctant Alexander's cluttered apartment, the two sit down to talk. Sophie is now a divorced New Yorker of nearly 70, Alexander is a lonely widower; both still harbor resentment of Freud's treatment of their youthful "problems." Their personal narratives, shown in flashback, are poignant; Freud is an unseen but vivid presence in the therapy scences.

柳宽顺（朝鲜语：유관순/류관순，1902年—1920年），朝鲜半岛女性独立运动家，三一运动殉难者，被后世韩国誉为“韩国的圣女贞德”。本贯高兴柳氏，出生于忠清南道天安，基督新教信徒。她原是梨花学堂（今梨花女子大学）的学生。1919年3月1日，柳宽顺在朝鲜京城（今韩国首尔）钟路的塔洞公园参与反对日本殖民统治的独立运动（三一运动）。之后她把独立运动的消息带返家乡，并主导当地的独立运动。后来柳宽顺被捕，并被日本殖民当局判处7年徒刑。其后更在西大门刑务所拘留所内因为严刑拷问及营养不良而死，享年18岁。

A dramatization of the 1919 defense of Petrograd, focusing on Bolshevik leadership and the defeat of White Army forces during the Russian Civil War.

What started as a crazy wager between friends, ended up as a full movie, created and acted by the whole population of the friendly Flemish village of Schellebelle. The renowned actor Heldenbergh (who lives in that village) wrote the scenario and directed, together with the mayor K. Taylor, who happens to be a professional director. The movie tells the story of the farming family Van de Velde, in the aftermath of the First World War. The farmer and his son, who have fought in the trenches of the Yser, are still missing in 1919, and the mother has died,so the eldest daughter Coralie runs the farm now on her own. She has welcomed 25 orphans during the war, but the Child Welfare Commission wants to put them in an orphanage. And some local notables with a sneaky plan want to take possession of the farm. But Coralie and the orphans fight back...
