This being a Republic picture, it should come as no surprise that Storm Over Bengal was filmed in its entirety in the San Fernando Valley. Within its concise 65 minutes, the film manages to accommodate a Bengal Lancers main plot, a romantic subplot, the obligatory coward who makes good, intrigue aplenty from a villainous Indian potentate, and an outsized climactic battle between the rebels and the British forces. Patric Knowles, previously one of the leads in the British-India epic Charge of the Light Brigade, heads the cast. Worth noting is the presence in the cast of Richard Cromwell as secondary romantic lead Neil Allison and Douglass Dumbrille as the despicable Khan. Three years earlier, Cromwell had been tortured by Dumbrille's minions in Lives of a Bengal Lancer, and he undergoes much the same treatment here-"just to make him feel at home" observed film historian Roger Dooley.

On the day of payment of the last installment, Gavino clumsily loses the money needed to balance. The appliance store does not allow extensions: within the next day or the Puddu will be presented with due, or will be forced to look take away the refrigerator. After trying in every way to put together the sum, not huge but still prohibitively expensive for their budget (9,100 pounds), spouses reflect the ease with which their neighbor, a prostitute would-be masseuse, he manages to get the money, and end to convince himself of the opportunity that Adele, albeit for a single time, prostitutes herself. The two have much hesitation, but all won by fear of losing the refrigerator and the well-being and social affirmation that this is for them. Eventually the police confirmed that it is their right to spend at least one night in the hotel where they had booked, the management seems to be resigned to accept them until a very rich and capricciosissima British girl does not claim for himself, without any valid reason, the room assigned to the column.
