一群未满18岁高职影视科的学生，为了他们共同的梦想，他们想完成他们第一部电影。当我从他们的口中听到他们要捍卫国片的不同看法时，感受到他们对整个社会大环境的不安与好奇时，我认为应该把这群“捍卫国片”小尖兵们的精神纪录下来，看看他们如何在坚持梦想的同时与现实环境搏斗，并以此片的拍摄检讨现今台湾电影环境与高职教育之症结所在，期望未来影视环境的改进，包括政府及学校教育，以及影视从业人士之省思。高职毕后的学生要继续升学或就业的种种考量，正在一点一滴地影响着这群学生。在毕业之后，面对当初的梦想与憧憬，是否能够继续坚持下去？这些当初热血沸腾的高职影视科学生，在台湾现实电影之路上要如何前行？
