The documentary is an analysis on each of the songs (including bonus track "sad song"), and they also talk about the journey of making this album. You also get live performances of all the songs which were recorded from various venues. And one of the things I like about this DVD is that it contains the music videos for all the songs released from the album (the "live forever" video is the US version). There is a Limited Edition version which contains a bonus DVD. On this DVD there are two more live performances (of live forever and the Beatles song I am the Walrus). Also there are more interviews with the band on making the album. I hope another DVD will be released for "whats the story (morning glory)?"

Standing On The Edge Of The Noise is a unique, intimate look at Oasis performing in their own space, instead of the huge stadium stages on which they are more often seen. The programme includes a mix of classics and new tracks from Dig Out Your Soul. It's a one-off live show that they played for a handful of fans in their rehearsal studio, as preparations for their 2008/2009 "Dig Out Your Soul Tour". An edit for tv was shown on 4Music on 23 November 2008[1] and on Channel 4 on 29 November 2008.[2] (tv edit) Rock 'n' Roll Star Intro The Shock Of The Lightning To Be Where There's Life Waiting For The Rapture Songbird Slide Away Ain't Got Nothin' The Importance Of Being Idle I'm Outta Time Supersonic Don't Look Back In Anger Falling Down (complete show) Rock 'n' Roll Star Lyla The Shock Of The Lightning Cigarettes & Alcohol The Meaning of Soul To Be Where There's Life Waiting For The Rapture The Masterplan Songbird Slide Away Morning Glory Ain't Got Nothin' The Importance Of Being Idle I'm Outta Time Wonderwall My Big Mouth Supersonic Don't Look Back In Anger (acoustic) Falling Down Champagne Supernova I Am The Walrus
