自从迪士尼于１９９９年推出第３７部经典动画【泰山】（Tarzan）大受欢迎后，迪士尼电视动画部门于是在２００１年将泰山的故事拍成电视影集版本，推出【泰山】（The Legend of Tarzan）卡通系列，并且在２００２年推出一部由这部影集所衍生的作品【泰山与珍妮】（Tarzan & Jane），直接发行录影带和ＤＶＤ。 【泰山与珍妮】其实是收录了三段影集故事内容，用一些方式将其串联在一起，内容叙述 Tarzan和Jane在丛林中结婚一周年庆纪念日将近，Jane想要给Tarzan一个特别的惊喜，他们的动物好友Terk和Tantor以及Jane 的爸爸，也都先后来参与帮忙Jane想点子。当Jane想举办宴会，却回想起曾经有一次她的姊妹淘好友来访的一段故事（段落“British Invasion”）；后来又想到可以送个礼物，但又回想起有一次Tarzan为了送她钻石，受人雇用却差点命丧火山的冒险经验（段落“Flying Ace”）；最后，Jane又想到了可跟Tarzan来支浪漫的舞蹈，不过偏偏又回想起Jane的一为英国旧情人驾飞机到来所引发的一段往事（段落 “Volcanic Diamond Mine”）。当种种惊喜方式都觉得行不通，Jane终于体会到「结婚纪念日」是文明世界的东西，她不想让Tarzan难堪，最后觉得自然渡过就好，但她却没想到 Tarzan却为她安排了惊喜…

泰山和珍妮的结婚周年纪念日即将到来，珍妮打算送给泰山一份超棒的礼物。她找来泰山的好友托托和丹丹一起商议，在讨论过程中，珍妮不禁回想起过去一年在丛林生活时那些令人难忘的奇妙遭遇……

日据时代，范志平与郑天成同被日军所征调，光复前夕，日军将大批美金、珠宝埋入山洞中，令二人守卫，光复之后，日军彻回日本，二人于是绘制藏宝图，各执其半，约定日后共同掘宝。范志平返回澳门后，却突然病故，郑天成于是将一半的藏宝图交其弟郑天生保管，也将其女小红委其照顾，自己带着年仅十岁的儿子，凭借记忆前往马来亚寻宝，但是二人却从此失了踪影。郑天生经调查与范志平的儿子范世昌取得连络，并议定以美金二千元买回另一半的藏宝图，郑天生于是前往澳门交易，令侄女郑淑芬及儿子有福带着藏宝图到马来亚会合，但是郑天生心存邪念，派遗小钱杀了郑天生，而后又杀小钱灭口，投靠黑社会老大钱鸿钧，拟藉其财力、人力，共同挖宝，谁知老大黑吃黑，又杀了范世昌，假藉范世昌的名义，请世昌在马来亚的表妹梅兰代为寻找淑芬下落，以便抢夺另一半的地图…

Jenny (Françoise Rosay) is a madam,and when her daughter comes back from England,she does not want her to find out what her job is really like.The plot is rather melodramatic and a bit cheesy,but the cast,including Jean-Louis Barrault,Charles Vanel and Robert Le Vigan is first-rate .A dirty world ,which is compared to the silt at the bottom of muddy waters.And as Jenny's final line says :"when you're at the bottom,you've got to stay at the bottom".
