五一路，太原市的一条老街。1955年开业的华义美发厅已经成为这条路上最后一家国营理发老店。没有人能说得清美发厅所在的小二楼是哪一年建成，据说已经百年的历史。时年66岁的武占梅和45岁的李世敏一直承包经营着这家美发厅，以传统的理发手艺，为周边的老顾客提供着“原汁原味”的服务。2016年，太原市政府计划对五一路进行道路改造，如果华艺美发厅因此而被拆迁，不仅会使这家老店从此淡出，也意味着武占梅和李世敏的生计将受到冲击，当然已经被人们认为是绝活的理发手艺或许就此湮灭。 One of the last state-owned hair salons in China's Shanxi province had just celebrated its 60th birthday before words came in that the street was about to be reconstructed and renovated, putting the old-fashioned salon on the verge of closing down. The film documented two barbers' struggle in protecting their salon, their jobs, and their traditional way of living and working, reflecting their helplessness and confusion in the wave of the city's civilization and modernization.

Émilie Serri was born in Canada. She had only visited Syria, her father’s country, a few times prior to the start of the civil war. Following her grandmother’s death, a desire grew within her to form a stronger connection to this country of which she knew so little. Serri studied old family photos and films, interviewed members of her family and other Syrians forced to flee their homeland, and in this documentary mixes her own memories with theirs. For some, Syria remains as alive and present as the scent of jasmine, while others' memories have already faded. They don’t usually talk about it, wishing to spare their children the traumas of the past: “They must look to the future.” Damascus Dreams is a record of a personal odyssey, yet this filmic essay also gives a broader view of the memories and dreams of the displaced. For people who had to leave so much behind, it sometimes seems easier to forget. In this way, Serri ties in the fate of refugees to her own dreamt homeland.

大卫·林奇在网上放出了他的短片《火》“Fire (Pożar)” 。短片由林奇编剧、绘画和导演，老搭档Marek Zebrowski作曲。林奇从2015年开始制作这个短片，他曾表示:“我们实验的目的是，我对自己的意图只字不提，Marek会用他自己的方式来诠释画面。”

Orphaned at a very young age, Raju lives a poor lifestyle with his unmarried sister, Laxmi, in India. Both are of marriageable age. One day Raju meets an attractive fellow-collegian, Parul, and after a few encounters with another fellow-collegian, Bobby, both fall in love. But Parul's uncle, Jagpal, has already arranged her marriage with Police Inspector Suryadev Singh. When Suryadev finds out that Parul is refusing to marry him, he arrests Raju on a charge of murder, holds him in a cell, and beats him mercilessly. Laxmi, quite dramatically, takes a gun from a policeman, and helps Raju escape so as to prevent Parul from being forcibly married to Suryadev. They do manage to arrive in time, only to find out that Parul has consumed poison and killed herself. Raju is beside himself with rage, but is captured by the police, and watches helplessly as Parul is cremated. His horrors have not ended as Suryadev sexually assault's Laxmi and leaves her in an mentally unstable condition. Raju ...
