村民刘大勇不顾寡妇坑的禁忌传说，执意前往垂钓，不料自己钓上来的大鱼却被湖中巨大黑影咬断半截。好事的孙瞎子警告他破坏了村里的禁忌，但刘大勇不信邪，找来渔网捕抓黑影，却被黑影撕破了渔网。此后，大勇家中厄运接踵而至，深夜哭声缭绕庭院，家中的牛犊也被上岸的黑影拖走。刘大勇在追击中用鱼叉刺伤那物，却只发现诡异的绿色血液与硕大鳞片。
