因爷爷去世，第三代在日韩国人姜军日（北村一辉 饰）搭乘电车，返回了位于奈良县樱井市大山深处的故乡。质朴乡情扑面而来，此行他还有一项重要的使命，即将一卷绘有一位高句丽王的画轴还给附近狛地（KOMA）的老人。在对方家中，他邂逅老人的女儿初子（中村优子 饰）。老人返身上楼取物，等候期间，军日随同初子外出散心。远眺对面的三轮山，初子向他讲述了一个人类女子和山神结婚生子的古老传说。夜幕降临，昏黄烛火，清酒小菜，老人叙述了关于画卷背后的渊源。友情、亲情、民族，细若游丝的情感缓缓流淌…… 本片为“2009三人三色”中的一部。
