She runs away to Madras, and like, hundreds of young women, lines up outside Jupiter Studios to try and get noticed. With her plain, next-door-girl looks, she gets ignored but as fate could have it she is given a chance to play a minor role after she manages to sneak into the studios. The role exploits her as a sex symbol, driving males to the cinema houses to absorb her movements and beauty. Virtually overnight she, now renamed Silk, becomes a sensation, and together with the aging superstar, Suryakant, the one she had always fantasized about, she sizzles the silver screen with her sex appeal. Mike and Danny fly a cropduster, but because of Danny's gambling debts, a local sheriff takes custody of it. アメリカのクリニックで働く精神科医・真田は、家族とショッピングに出掛けた際に乗り込んだエレベーターでひとりの女（桃井かおり）と出くわす。耳にした彼女の声が頭から離れず、彼はクリニックで女を問診している妄想を始める。火事で両親が他界し、学校ではいじめに遭い、結婚した相手に浮気され、離婚後はアメリカで売春婦をしながら借金に追われるという身の上話をする女。それを聞きながら真田は、彼女が相対してきた男と自身を重ね合わせる。そして女の話は、どんどん異様なものになっていき……。

大卫·林奇在网上放出了他的短片《火》“Fire (Pożar)” 。短片由林奇编剧、绘画和导演，老搭档Marek Zebrowski作曲。林奇从2015年开始制作这个短片，他曾表示:“我们实验的目的是，我对自己的意图只字不提，Marek会用他自己的方式来诠释画面。”

Orphaned at a very young age, Raju lives a poor lifestyle with his unmarried sister, Laxmi, in India. Both are of marriageable age. One day Raju meets an attractive fellow-collegian, Parul, and after a few encounters with another fellow-collegian, Bobby, both fall in love. But Parul's uncle, Jagpal, has already arranged her marriage with Police Inspector Suryadev Singh. When Suryadev finds out that Parul is refusing to marry him, he arrests Raju on a charge of murder, holds him in a cell, and beats him mercilessly. Laxmi, quite dramatically, takes a gun from a policeman, and helps Raju escape so as to prevent Parul from being forcibly married to Suryadev. They do manage to arrive in time, only to find out that Parul has consumed poison and killed herself. Raju is beside himself with rage, but is captured by the police, and watches helplessly as Parul is cremated. His horrors have not ended as Suryadev sexually assault's Laxmi and leaves her in an mentally unstable condition. Raju ...
