本作描绘了专门调查UFO相关事件的民间组织“UFO研究实验室”（UFO RESEACH LABORATORY，简称URL）的优秀搜查官泷史郎的活跃表现。URL的新人冈本在前往调查迫降的UFO时，因恐惧而犹豫不决，而前辈泷却毫无畏惧地闯入船内。实际上，泷曾经历过妻子和孩子被UFO绑架的过往，自他拿到在事件现场掉落的金色饭勺后，便变得大胆起来，能够勇敢地进入UFO。在此期间，绑架他妻儿的巨大UFO再度出现。
