曾经登上过未拍摄最佳剧本黑名单的剧本《时代广场》（Times Square）目前已经被焦点公司买下了拍摄版权，而焦点公司为这个剧本找到的导演，则是执导了《速度与激情》系列的林诣彬。 《时代广场》讲述了一个具有反乌托邦性质的科幻故事。旧的时代广场遭到了废弃，这里渐渐变成了一个无法无天之地。而影片的主角则是一个有着不为人知的过去的男人，他的道德和良知将在这里遭到考验。应该说，这是一个很有意思的故事，虽然有些老调重弹，但是在超级英雄满天飞的当下的好莱坞，依旧令人非常感兴趣。 不过，林诣彬目前手上工作太多，他要拍摄《少林寺3D》、《谍影重重5》，并且还在为CBS拍摄前导剧集。所以这部电影什么时候能开拍，还是个未知数。
