Arhingsaka was born in India to a noble family. Despite his noble birth, his horoscope showed to be born under the sign of thieves, and thus was preordained for a wicked life. On his 16th birthday his father sent him to complete his education and Arhingsaka became the teacher's favorite; the other jealous students told the master that Arhingsaka was flirting with the teachers wife. Deciding to punish his former star pupil, he told Arhingsaka : "You have almost completed your training; there is just one thing left to do. Once you finish your life of suffering will be over, and you will become a Bodhisattva. You must single-handedly kill 1,000 people"

东京都内高级住宅区发生连环宠物狗被杀事件，电视台报道员铃木香织目击了人气女演员福江弓子遗弃死去爱犬的场面，然而弓子坚称自己也是爱犬杀害事件的受害者。香织迫于电视台压力停职，她对弓子心怀不满，便和同事安田明开始调查弓子。在剧团首席女演员北冈美穗的介绍下，香织到女性同性恋汇集的酒吧打工。她前往女同志酒吧，与吧主有过接触后得知，弓子曾被单身生活的社长夫人生方恒子包养。恒子对弓子十分痴迷，后因弓子不爱自己而绝望自杀。而且，介绍弓子来打工的美穗半年前也遇害了。据当时报道，美穗遗体旁有爱犬尸体，从现场状况和邻居证言判断，犯人是与美穗关系亲近之人。于是香织推测弓子是犯人。香织跑去质问弓子关于恒子和美穗的事，弓子承认了三人之间的三角关系。原来美穗也喜欢弓子，还为她放弃了首席女演员之位，嫉妒的恒子用菜刀划破美穗的脸，然后在家中服用大量安眠药自杀。美穗受伤后，弓子代替她成了主角。凭借美穗的帮助走红的弓子被大导演三枝公明看中，一心成名的弓子选择和导演结婚。被抛弃的美穗用分手费开了酒吧，但仍无法忘情。后来美穗去找弓子，威胁说两人对服安眠药的恒子见死不救是共犯，情急之下，弓子勒死了美穗。

Vicente, seventeen, lives with brother Nino, ten-years-old, and his ailing father in a derelict house on the outskirts of the capital. One day, the father leaves for good, and Vicente and Nino swear to cover it up. It's their secret. Clara, the primary school assistant, is fascinatingly beautiful, and secretive, and (may be) she knows it aswel. There are other secrets, though: the origin of the money that appears at Vicente's house; the relationship between Vicente's well-to-do uncle and his girlfriend; the relationship between the four people who once played the cards together, and now can't stand each other

Diego's job is counting people as they enter a large government building. After work, he and his wife Blanca lie on the couch, watch soap operas, or make love on the kitchen table. Their relationship is based on having sex, watching TV, and fighting, until one day their routine is interrupted. Karina, Diego's daughter from a previous marriage, arrives in search of her father's love, but Blanca refuses to accept her.
