《地球大纪行》是由NFB、NHK、Discovery和科学频道联合制作的一部5集的系列 地球在她超过40亿年的历史中，不断的重复着剧烈的气候变迁，导致了物种的成批的灭绝，然而生命仍在延续。 事实上，这些毁灭地球上生物的相同的灾难同时也推动了物种的进化——从最简单的微生物到现存的复杂丰富的物种。 通过让人身临其境的摄影、采访最前沿的科学家和先进的电脑科技，《地球大纪行》再现地球进化的深奥和扣人心弦的神秘故事，揭示剧变在物种进化过程中扮演者一种奇异的角色。 1. 狂暴过去 The Violent Past: Secrets of our Past Earth was born as a result of repeated asteroid collisions, the moon created by a single giant impact event. Then, Earth's size attracted huge meteorites, which slammed into it, causing super-high-temperature rock vapor to cover the entire surface and evaporate all ocean water. The earliest life-forms survived such infernal events by escaping deep into the ground, miraculously emerging again and again. The Earth has gone through innumerable catastrophic events, and life has survived by acquiring new abilities to live through each crisis. Humans are part of the grand history of life's evolution, which has been closely intertwined with repeated cataclysmic events. Why was Earth able to evolve into a livable planet, but not Mars, which failed to hold its atmosphere and oceans? Find out in the opening episode of the series. 2. 冰雪地球: Snowball Earth: First Complex Life The hypothesis "Snowball Earth" explains that ice ages, caused by the earliest life-forms, resulted in an evolutional leap — larger-sized life. Atmospheric methane created by microbes initially kept the Earth warm. As microbes that produce oxygen (photosynthesizers) emerged, atmospheric methane was lowered. As a result Earth cooled and the primeval ocean froze to 1,000 meters deep. Most life may have become extinct during a long period of intense glaciation believed to have lasted several million years. However, some life survived, perhaps in puddles created near volcanic craters. Carbon dioxide accumulated in the air because thick ice sheets prevented ocean water from absorbing it. A green-house effect, created by carbon dioxide, finally melted the ice and fed photosynthesizers. Hyper hurricanes raged after the great meltdown and stirred up the ocean water, creating an ideal condition for life to prosper and develop collagen. Using collagen, life-forms were able to build larger bodies, and a variety of creatures, called Ediacara biota, emerged for the first time. 3. 新边界 New Frontiers: Onto the Land Earth provides a rich environment, and many factors continually shape the planet's condition. 4.Extinction.and.Rebirth 5.Survival.of.the.Fittest

For most people the equator is just an imaginary line running 25,000-miles around the globe. But the countries along the equator are among the most troubled on the planet. In this new series Simon takes a journey around the region with the greatest natural biodiversity and perhaps the greatest concentration of human suffering: the equator. In Equator Simon meets illegal loggers, father and son circumcisers, drunk villagers, and a young woman stuck in the baking desert. Simon and the Equator film-crew are protected by soldiers in a coca field, and UN 'peace-enforcers' in a gold mine. They are blackmailed and abandoned by drivers in one country, and travel through another that has just 300 miles of paved roads - despite being the size of Western Europe. Simon is drenched while white-water rafting, surrounded by a million flamingos and swallowed by a tidal wave. After being warned about the deadly virus Ebola, Simon vomits blood and develops a temperature of nearly 40C. Diagnosed with malaria, he's saved by medicine derived from the Vietnamese sweet wormwood. One remote tribe takes Simon to their sacred monument, while a father from another tribe of former head-hunters decides to make Simon part of the family. After presenting his 'father' with a fine pair of trousers, Simon is blessed with blood, presented with a short sword, and adopted. Simon discovers a matrilineal society where daughters are called 'iron butterflies', mass graves in the jungle, and islands where protesting fisherman have killed giant tortoises. He helps an orphaned orangutan into a tree, swims with sea-lions, fishes for piranha, climbs the equivalent of half-way up Everest, and discovers the city thought to be most at risk from volcanic eruptions. Simon's trip takes him through the nation suffering the worst humanitarian crisis in the Western hemisphere, and the African country that's endured the most violent conflict on the planet since the Second World War.

“赤盗”（张震 饰）是南韩头号通缉犯，与头号副手（文咏珊 饰）成功在生产浓缩铀原料的工厂夺走一批铀原料球。情报显示，他们会把铀原料球变成超级武器，并在香港与恐怖组织交易。来自中国内地的宋鞍（王学圻 饰）跟助手袁晓文（冯文娟 饰），联同香港警察李彦明（张家辉 饰）、范家明（余文乐 饰）及香港大学物理系客座教授肇志仁（张学友 饰），加上南韩武器专家崔民浩（池珍熙 饰）、朴宇哲（崔始源 饰）等人，一同追缉赤盗，拯救亚洲史上最威慑武器危机事件。
