General Electric Theater is an American anthology series hosted by Ronald Reagan that was broadcast on CBS radio and television. The series was sponsored by General Electric's Department of Public Relations.

1952年上海电影制片厂组建的摄制组摄制了6部科教片：《深耕增产》《煤矿安全生产》《苏长有先进砌砖法》《母子平安》《家庭安全用电》《郝建秀工作法》。《家庭安全用电》是用故事情节编排的科教片，参加了1954年全国首次举办的“科学教育影片展览周”活动。 《家庭安全用电》1952年摄制，编剧：牧野，导演：杜生华。该片是用几个生活小故事的片段形式，来讲解一些触电的原因，如小李家用螺丝灯不小心触到铜丝头，张大钢家用破裂开关造成触电事故，小孩琪儿玩弄装得太低的插座，小孩勇勇玩弄床头开关，有的人家挂衣服在磨破的电线上，老黄家随便更换粗保险丝和换铜丝造成旧电线燃烧，李华一知半解随便修理台灯造成人身事故。影片还细致用动画剖析触电道理，灯座上叠印字幕，有些通过实景加动画手法让观众看清电流在人身上流过的形象。最后，影片还介绍了两种人工呼吸的急救办法。 （高广元，新中国第一 个科教电影机构的雏形，电影文学2009年07期）
