据了解，电影《暗术》是FFS集团与中信国安计划的首部合拍片，也是从创意策划期就明确了与中国合拍、故事核心设置为中国元素的好莱坞商业大片。电影具备了不少好莱坞魔幻大片的内容元素：神秘的地下世界、超能的铁甲怪兽、灾难来临时的繁华都市、地球毁灭时的翻江倒海，当然也不缺少拯救地球的英雄、性感聪慧的美女及令人唏嘘的爱情等等。 《暗术》总预算达4000万美金，计划邀请中国演员加盟，预计在今年11月完成融资，届时将确定演员导演并开始拍摄，暂定于2018年春节档上映。FFS总裁大卫·谢尔顿表示，通过吸收好莱坞成功的电影经验，可以让《暗术》从故事情节到角色设计，都对全世界观众有吸引力，让电影走向全球市场。
