该节目不限舞种和年龄，采用假试镜真海选的双面舞台，舞者在工作室镜子前表演，观众可以通过镜子背后的大屏幕看到，由观众投票决定参赛者去留，如果晋级成功，镜子会打开，让舞者面对全场进行表演。在此过程中，不仅展现精彩的舞蹈作品，也讲述舞者的情感故事。
