A group of friends fight for survival when they disturb the deranged inhabitants of what was thought to be abandoned estate deep in the woods of East Texas.

“At midnight, with two owls calling, Xu Wang was involved in a strange world called “Owls”. From then on, his life was divided into two parts: “Reality in the daytime” and “Through the barriers at night”. Here, he and squad leader Wu Sheng were forced to form a team and began a journey of punching through checkpoints across the country. 强子为追捕偷鸡的黄鼠狼，与妻妹小雪误入神秘山林，失手导致猫头鹰幼崽死亡，从而激怒了守护禁地的“白头鹰王”。一系列诡异事件接踵而至家犬惨死、鸡群遭殃、井水变红两人在惊恐中不断逃避鹰王的复仇，却发现这一切背后似乎另有隐情。
