폭력을 일삼던 소방관 아버지가 순직한 뒤 새로운 삶을 꿈꾸던 18살의 선오는 아버지의 폭력을 잊은 듯 행동하는 엄마와 누나로 인해 혼란스럽다. 새롭게 친구가 된 기진 무리와 어울리며 엇나가는 선오. 아버지의 1주기 기념식에 다녀 온 엄마와 누나에게 아버지를 용서해야 한다는 말을 듣고, 선오 내면의 무언가가 무너지기 시작한다.

When Sun-oh's abusive father dies while on duty as a firefighter, he feels a sense of liberation. As he dreams of a new life, his mother and sister seem to have forgotten the violence they endured. Confused, Sun-oh falls in with delinquent friends and starts his first relationship hoping to leave his father behind. However, at his father's memorial ceremony, Sun-oh shatters as his mother and sister speak of forgiveness. Overwhelmed with anger, he cannot accept their quick change of attitude at all.

It's a documentary animation of Hyuck Kim born in North Korea. He had been tortured in a prison. He, however, succeed in escaping North Korea and lives in South Korea. This is the story of Hyuck Kim's life as a North Korean defector in South Korea, which has nothing to do with any political issue.
