It will be developed and produced by Shawn Levy's 21 Laps company, and Sinead Daly is expected to serve as the screenwriter. “The Age Of Miracles“ was published by Random House in 2012. It tells the story of a girl from Southern California and her family waking up one day to find that the Earth's rotation has suddenly started to slow down rapidly. As the days and nights get longer, gravity is also affected by the change in rotation, and people begin to suffer from a mysterious new illness. While the girl is forced to endure various daily disasters, she is also dealing with the impact of her parents' marriage breakdown.
