In the mystical Scottish Highlands, Merida is the princess of a kingdom ruled by King Fergus and Queen Elinor. An unruly daughter and an accomplished archer, Merida one day defies a sacred custom of the land and inadvertently brings turmoil to the kingdom. In an attempt to set things right, Merida seeks out an eccentric old Wise Woman and is granted an ill-fated wish. Hibiki Kazaguruma, a sixth grader, meets an amusing little robot named Breakin while coming home from school one day. Breakin, a dancer from an alternate-dimension dance world, challenged the Dance King for the throne and lost. He has been deprived of Dance Stones (crystals containing the powers of different forms of dance) and sent to the human world. To restore his power, Breakin must collect all the Dance Stones scattered around Earth.

Jr. High School Student Wataru and his friends like playing in an abandond building and looking for ghosts. However it seems he is not the only one. Another mysterious student Mitsuru shows Wataru that there is a magical door to another world where one can go and get the Goddess of Fortune to grant one wish! When tragedy strikes Wataru's family he decides to open the door for himself.
