Set in 1984, when the war on drugs was at its height, the story concerns a strain of mold developed by the government to wipe out Colombian coca fields. Unfortunately, during a demonstration, the mold gets out of control and proves to be deadly to more than just vegetation.

Illustrator Jae-in works until dawn when she senses a strange energy beyond the window. She starts her day thinking nothing of it, but from the moment she discovers mould on the wall of her house, her day begins to gradually darken.

After an isolated photographer confines a faceless being to her darkroom, her mental and physical identity begin to deteriorate.

After being betrayed by love, Jisu believes that man-made garbage reveals the truth about them. One day, she comes across waste that’s been neatly sorted and discarded. It belongs to her next-door neighbor, Woojae. She grows curious about him and successfully approaches him using the information from his trash.
