Flying Saucer Rock 'n' Roll, is a 12 minute spoof of a 1950s black and white science fiction B-movie. It was first released in 1997 and starred Ardal O'Hanlon. It was written by Mik Duffy and its director Enda Hughes. The title is taken from the 1957 Rockabilly novelty hit record "Flyin' Saucers Rock 'n' Roll" by Billy Lee Riley and His Little Green Men. O'Hanlan's "rendition" of the song, is performed by producer Michael Hughes.

Robin and her father have a car accident. Her father dies. Robin is badly injured and cannot compete in gymnastics tournaments anymore. She lives with her mother and bad step-father. Robin is accepted to the school athlethics team but is not accepted by some other girls, so she works out at a friends house. Eventually Robin and her team compete in the national scholastic meet.

Annabì has a fear of flying, which holds back her life and acting career. When her daughter decides to study abroad, Annabì sets out to conquer her fear by taking a course designed specifically for those who are afraid of flying.

Some individuals are blessed with the opportunity while others strive relentlessly to reach that pinnacle. Follow Jin as he launches from total obscurity to international stardom where he battles more than onstage encounters with opposing mc's. 　　—Anonymous
