生病待在家中的小女孩玛丽安（Jenuvka Bokova 饰），无聊之中开始在纸上画下了她的日常生活。在她多彩和感性的画笔下，描绘了即将出生的顽皮小弟弟，她的祖母、舅舅，夜晚做得奇怪的梦，自娱自乐的快乐心情，以及久在家中的无聊和郁闷。丰富的想象力和鲜艳的色彩让每天的生活不致于太过枯燥，虽偶有失落，但玛丽安欢快的舞步决不会停止。 　　曾执导过获奖短片《足迹》的捷克籍美女导演Mária Procházková又一温情生活小品。
