这一天，汤姆正百无聊赖戏耍杰瑞解闷儿，突然门铃声响起。女主人前去看门，原来是她的朋友将三只嗷嗷待哺憨态可掬的小猫送来寄养。女主人充满爱心地将小猫接进屋内，并嘱咐汤姆好好照看他们。不久女主人外出购物，汤姆责无旁贷担起了保护小猫们的重任。谁知，这三只小猫长着天使的外表，却有恶魔一般的心。他们百般戏耍汤姆，用尽一切狡黠伎俩。一旁看热闹的杰瑞幸灾乐祸，没想到自己也惹火烧身，遭到小猫们的戏弄。 　　吃尽苦头的汤姆和杰瑞联合起来，决定好好教训这三只无法无天的小坏蛋。一场“大人”和“小鬼”的激烈较量就此展开……

短片讲述的是一只本生活在幸福童年的小猫，却慢慢的要面对这世间最残酷的现实，一个幸福的家庭被病魔一点一点的吞噬，怨恨的种子最终在小孩子的内心发芽。当生活美好的表象撕裂开来，我们将如何应对生命的真相? 　　该片人物造型设计独特，所有角色似乎有着一种瓷娃娃般的质感，尤其是在角色生病时，皮肤的开裂效果与瓷器非常类似。唯美的造型，映衬出主题更显沉重，面对命运的不公与痛击，我们如何才能平复心中燃起的仇恨与伤痛，面对生死离别等人生的重大悲怆，我们该如何消化自我的无能为力? 　　《三只小猫》(Trois Petits Chats)由法国数码动画学院四位毕业生Benoît Delaunay, Albane Hertault Lacoste, Maïwenn le Borgne,Alexia Provoost联合执导，设计灵感来自公仔Pipos dolls，该片赢得本年度Best student short film(最佳学生短片) Effets Stars奖。

This short, using simple cut-out animation, and the song "Three--- Blind--- Mice----" tells of horrific factory accidents that befell three mice that work there. Walking through a dark forest and murky reeds, entering a mysterious lake, the character experiences pain, fright and fear. Her anxiety and suffering are almost incapacitating as they touch every cell in her body. This animation in the style of magic realism arouses hope that each, even the hardest, situation may bring something new.
