音响效果师金钟实为某可乐公司的可乐设计出一种特殊的开瓶效果声。该公司韩国分社给了他一张空白支票，作为奖励。在庆功宴上钟实喝得烂醉，后误入某独身居住的妓女的公寓里。由于公寓门出现故障，钟实和妓女不得不共处一室，度过一晚。钟实的妻子发现丈夫去向不明，遂报警寻人。查询的过程中，警方发现空白支票，便展开臆测，寻根刨底，甚至在全国发起通缉。事态严重，无法脱身的钟实最后甚至得到自己已经身亡的消息。于是，钟实下定决心，准备找到即将给自己举行葬礼的教会。
