梅茵终于要正式成为神殿的见习巫女。在进入神殿之前，她忙着向班诺报告各种事情，举办试吃会等。进入神殿的那天，斐迪南为梅茵举办宣誓仪式，她正式成为了蓝衣巫女。并且被命到她身边伺候的人是…

为了书可以去做巫女！ 　　「比起一日三餐更喜欢书」的女大学生·本须丽乃转生成为士兵的女儿·梅茵的那个世界中，并没有书。 　　平民的识字率低下，羊皮纸做出来的书十分昂贵，是贵族老爷专属的东西。 　　于是梅茵做了一个决定。 　　“没有书的话，自己做出来不就行了” 　　在历经了各种失败之后，梅茵遇到了商人班诺，为了成为见习商人而完成了植物做的纸，但此时梅茵的身体却遭到「身蚀的发热」所侵蚀。 　　在贵族拥有魔力的这个世界中，偶尔会有带着魔力出生的平民。那即是「身蚀」。若没有用来吸取持续增长的魔力的魔术具，就会不久于人世。 　　此时，在洗礼式上发现了神殿图书室的梅茵，向神殿长提出直接谈判，想要成为见习巫女。一番争论过后，梅茵终于成为奉纳魔力的青衣见习巫女。 　　但原本赋予贵族的「青衣」由平民出身的梅茵穿上，招致许多人的不快，梅茵的下一步前途多难。 　　尽是问题儿童的侍从，神殿的阶级社会……。 　　与丽乃时代、下町时代有所不同的神殿的常识摆在梅茵面前。梅茵能够尽情读书的日子究竟会不会到来！？ 　　还有，梅茵能否顺利制造出书！？

第3季故事将讲述在神殿担任见习青衣巫女的梅茵和她的朋友路兹、姊姊多莉与孤儿院的孩子们一同制作了儿童版圣典绘本，对于书籍热情越来越高的梅茵，决定挑战下一个目标「活版印刷」。 　　梅茵强大的魔力和丰富知识也让贵族们发现了她的利用价值，以及对梅茵怀恨在心的贵族，也纷纷暗地里瞄准梅茵。为了安全起见，安排了一名护卫骑士保护梅茵，更在神官长斐迪南命令下，梅茵成为了贵族卡斯泰德的养女。 　　与此同时，梅茵的家族中也有了新生命的诞生，梅茵因而成为姊姊，加上梅茵侍从之一的戴莉雅，和遗弃在孤儿院有着身蚀的戴尔克……梅茵想守护的人事物越来越多，瞄准着她的恶魔之手也步步逼近，梅茵究竟会发生什么！？
