「你去過那裡嗎？」導演夢中的女子對他說著這句話，而那張臉來自一本紀錄紅色高棉受難者的攝影集。這個令人困惑的夢，最終促使他展開這趟歷史探尋之旅。 　　1977年越南戰爭結束,大批越南難民流亡海外。臺灣參與了援助難民的工作，在澎湖建立難民營，在1977年至1988年間收容難民。本作聚焦於一名越南難民女孩和她的家人身上，透過動畫、實景與真人演出，置身這座湮滅在記憶中的難民營場景，目睹「南海血淚」的真實慘劇，也一路看著女孩與家人的聚散離合。
