冬日的清晨，宫子羽在旧尘山谷的万花楼醒来，侍奉他起床的紫衣姑娘敦促他抓紧时间回去，不要耽误今天宫门迎娶新娘。与此同时，旧尘山谷外的梨溪镇，一对母女正在家中告别，两名无锋刺客突然闯入，击晕了她们。无锋刺客云为衫换上新娘的嫁衣，摇身一变成为来自梨溪镇的宫门待选新娘。此番潜入宫门，她的目的只有一个——成为宫门少主宫唤羽的妻子，获取宫门情报。宫子羽从万花楼出来，与侍卫金繁一起坐马车回宫门，路上他们的马车被从旧尘山谷外骑马赶来的一个宫门哨点的药铺老板撞倒。身负重伤的药铺老板告诉宫子羽，他们的哨点遭遇无锋的突袭，他借假死偷听到无锋在今晚送进来的新娘里安插了一个刺客。宫子羽大惊，赶忙将这个消息禀告执刃宫鸿羽与少主宫唤羽。然而宫子羽并不知道，“新娘里有一个刺客”的消息是无锋设计故意让宫门知道的。无锋往宫门内送了不止一名刺客，所以特意走漏风声，牺牲一个间谍，保全其他人的安全。执刃宫鸿羽经验老道，听到这个消息便决定杀死所有新娘，宫子羽不忍有人被无辜滥杀，和父亲产生冲突。

永然是一个坚强乐观的女孩，兄长瘫痪后她独立肩负起照顾哥哥与侄女的责任。因为侄女的关系，她结识了台湾叛逆青年卓勤，因从小便与母亲缺乏沟通，就算家里还算富裕，卓勤仍选择自力更生，只能以盗窃为生。他在与永然一家相处的过程中感受到了家庭的温暖，他们两人也爱上了彼此。 可是卓勤后来遭到黑道追杀，而永然又被证实患上绝症，两个人面临了巨大的困难。到最后又能否冲破困难呢？
