2011年6月，缅甸政府军与克钦独立军爆发冲突，大批难民逃亡到拉咱市，这里是克钦独立军总部。七八年时间过去了，有的难民在这里成家生子，有的为抵抗政府军参军，有的在这里工作建房......2019年初，导演到拉咱市，纪录了三位难民的战争印象、逃亡经历、生存现状和信仰生活。聚焦他们的理想与现实、生存与信仰、认同与矛盾。

乐队解散的主唱慎平（樱田通 饰）一心想要重组乐队，于是他找回乐队原来的队员黑yang（笠松将 饰），但黑yang已经不想再重拾音乐了，就叫慎平跟自己一起去“工作”…… 　　另一边，女友由加利（福田麻由子 饰）怀孕了，想要跟他结婚，他却说还没做好准备。 　　在黑yang的诱骗之下，慎平跟他一起去做这份不太好的“工作”……得知真相后深受打击的慎平在家闭门不出。 　　几个月后的某一天，由加利产期将至，然而……

罗曼菲，自大学时期翩然起舞、赴纽约学习现代舞、返台于舞蹈系培育提拔年轻舞者、担任云门舞集二总监、以迄学生布拉瑞扬在台东设立舞团。她的现代舞独树一帜，桃李天下、处处舞踏，「为了让多一点人跳，她为学生创作了多支大型舞作」。病痛临终她仍在彩排最后一支舞作，既是白蛇也是黑天鹅，一袭舞衣从黑褪淡至灰；当年一鸣惊人的《挽歌》里，她已永恒独舞，旋转不止。继两部文学纪录片之后，陈怀恩执导了此部舞蹈纪录片，呈现其对罗曼菲这位早逝的台湾舞者的不舍与呼唤，诉说她文学出身、翩然旋舞的一生。

Middle-aged lesbian Manok closes down ‘Rainbow’, the queer bar she’s run for years, and returns to her hometown, Iban-ri, following the death of her mother. But home feels as stifling and unfamiliar as ever. The village, where her ex-husband now serves as headman, greets her return with suspicion, and deep-rooted prejudice and exclusion still linger. Yet Manok refuses to back down. To break down the walls between past and present, village and self, she boldly runs for village chief. It’s a declaration—not of rejection, but of affirmation: to live without denying who she is, and to once again take her place at the center, on her own terms. In Iban-ri, Manok finds new beginnings and reconnects with severed ties. Among them are Guem-ja, an old flame, and Jae-yeon, a high school student hiding his true self in the suffocating atmosphere of the countryside. Manok, who lives openly and without apology, becomes a beacon for Jae-yeon, and he, in turn, finds the courage to finally come out to the world. Even far from the days of Rainbow, Manok is still surrounded by strong, loving women who stand by her side. Manok is a warm and spirited portrait of courage, survival, and community.
