刚刚搬到京都半年的高二女生真城葵，为了鉴定因为某件事情而去世的祖父留下的古董。真城葵前往寺町三条商店街的古董店「藏」寻求帮助，而在这家古董店中葵遇到了古董店主的孙子，在店内帮忙鉴定工作的大学生见习鉴定师家头清贵，虽然看上去是个柔弱美男子，但家头清贵有着「福尔摩斯」的代名，对于自己看到的事物情报异常敏锐，处理能力异常的快。而清贵当场识破葵是瞒着家人将祖父遗留下来的古董带出了家，无论如何都需要大笔金钱，被清贵建议在就在这家古董店里打工如何，以此为开端葵与清贵共同因为古董和京都结缘遇到各种各样的事件。
