本片出自大导演丁善玺之手，导演除了注入丁式幽默喜剧之外，还必不可少在最后加入人鬼通灵的桥段。主角几位是台湾知名的演艺人员，张帝饰演一个项目包工头赵得住，家里有七个孩子要扶养，还有一个孩子在娘胎也将要诞生。林金鱼（凌峰饰）是一个卖甘草神药的江湖贩子，为了房租的事情跟房东王大叔（张魁饰）周璇，王大叔在片中以扬州方言对话，一身清代长袍扮相，实在俏皮可爱。这几个人都不容易，殊途同归，最后开了一家健身房，帮助肥胖人士减肥，他们的健身教练美美被人绑架，于是开启一段营救美美的计划。

Middle-aged lawyer Thomas (André Hennicke) meets Leyla (Nina Hoss), a younger cold reserved pretty blonde, in a suburban swimming-pool. Thomas falls in love with her and, after their paths keep crossing, he picks up the courage to ask her out for a date. Somewhat to his surprise she agrees, but arrives late and the restaurant is closing. They go back to his apartment for an impromptu pizza and, after a few drinks, she falls asleep on the couch. The next morning Thomas awakes to find Leyla and his laptop are missing. Hurt and baffled, Thomas investigates further only to discover that she has vanished from his life, her job and the city and he has been the victim of a meticulously-staged plan carried out by the scheming Leyla...
