Fazendo Meu Filme tells the story of Fani (Bela Fernandes), a 16-year-old girl who passionately dreams about cinema and whose best friend Leo (Xande Valois) is always by her side. Fani is constantly thinking of her life as a movie in which each friend and each romance has a prominent role. During the school year, her mother insists she participate in a selection for an exchange program. Fani passed the test and will now spend a year in London. The prospect of leaving the country scares her, and she is soon forced to face her feelings and internal conflicts after she realizes she has fallen in love with someone unexpected. A man hops off a train by the small town where he claims he was before. His presence allows to bring out the inner feelings and beliefs of the inhabitants. A man who has hidden through all of the war because he looked Jewish, even if he is not, took on a fame of a dead Jewish actor he resembles. The visitor's wife shows up to claim his and indicate that he is always running off. He escapes in the end for another town.
