Born in the northern coastal town of South Shields, she was driven by a fierce conviction to record the impact of Thatcher era de-industrialisation upon local communities. 人们会在失眠的时候数羊，而这些羊都由一位牧羊人管理。牧羊人的日常工作是帮助人们进入梦乡，六只羊是他的助手。这天晚上，他遇到了一个棘手的失眠者，来自失眠者头脑中的失眠恶魔千方百计地干扰他的工作，于是，牧羊人与失眠恶魔展开了一场激烈的对决。
