艺人经纪事务所经纪人-乌山瞳美（松隆子）自幼父母双亡、孤苦伶仃。表面非常开朗、内心却寂寞无比。某日、原本负责人气艺人的瞳美突然被叫停、并转派担当非莎士比亚剧不演的资深老艺人-本能寺海造（藤田真）的经纪人。而本能寺则是个顽固、任性、偏执、就连自己家里人也对其疏而远之的孤独男人…。 　　女星松隆子（29岁）睽违了3年9个月后，将主演富士电视台的“役者魂！”（17日于日本首播，周二晚间9点），11日再东京都千代田区的赤阪王子饭店举行制作发表会。松隆子千挑万选的是非爱情故事的异色喜剧，她说“很久没演出连续剧了，很有压力”，在戏中可看见她挑战迷你裙造型诠释“役者魂！”。 　　松隆子所演出的是大牌艺人的经纪人·瞳美一角。而剧中的大牌艺人，只演莎士比亚剧的本能寺，则是由藤田诚（73岁）饰演。瞳美必须面对任性到令人难以置信的本能寺，及处理各式各样的骚动。根据“大搜查线”系列的编剧·君冢良一原作脚本，是一部“可以大笑的喜剧，也描写了人与人心灵的联系”的连续剧。“偶而”脱离连续剧的松隆子一副很满足的样子说“非常时髦跟节奏感十足的一部作品，其实我很喜欢可以发笑的故事，藤田先生的喜剧真的很有趣”。另一方面，藤田则骄傲地说“今年可以跟松隆子一起演出的只有我一个人，连梅宫辰夫都不行”。只是，松隆子难得演出没有恋爱元素的连续剧，也像小孩一样调皮的对制作人抱怨“好寂寞喔！”。
