Around the year 1500, the Italian priest Don Filippo Neri helps street kids and orphans in his poor little chapel. He is no clergyman by the book, but a true believer in terms good and bad and he teaches this to his children. Neri is not very well-seen by the church and his only "friend" is the dry, humorless Ignatius De Loyola. But Neris real counterpart is the devil himself, working in endless incarnations in Neris direct neighborhood, trying to seduce his kids. His newest kid is the young thief Cirifischio, making a lot of problems. When Cirifischio has an argument with a young boy of a local aristocrat, the boy turns out to be a girl, the young Leonetta, some kind of a sex slave for her owner. Neri adopts her too, and the young people fall in love. 15 Years later, the devil is back and leads Cirifiscio onto a murder. Now lawless, the thief must flee Neri and leave Leonetta back. Neri does the best he can to save the thief's life, but does he have a chance against the fate? Moreover, Neri has to fight the death sin of vanity itself...from an unexpected side...

Gay men Gu and Chang meet on a dating app, and head to a hotel for a hookup. The two strangers start with some small talk to break the ice, but Gu seems anxious, prompting Chang to ease him into the mood. As their conversation progresses, Chang discovers that Gu is hiding a secret. Director's statement: When transitioning from being a film critic to a director, I aim to make my identity evident in my work. Therefore, I juxtapose The Gay Brothers, the first queer film in film history, with a modern hookup scene between two gay men, highlighting not only the existence of this rare work but also the historical significance of on-screen same-sex intimacy. Also, I use the transition in sound and color, such as the shift from black-and-white to color imagery, to draw an analogy to the progress of LGBTQ+ rights in Taiwan.

Fueled by the arrival of a young painter, Elpida is a housewife who finds refuge from her monotonous life in her own fantasy world. As this fantasy world becomes filled with thoughts of vengeful violence, the lines blur between fantasy and reality. As events progress, Elpida is forced to question her own reality as she struggles to remember what really happened. »Pause« is Tonia Mishiali’s debut as director of a feature film and is a personal movie about a woman’s struggle in an oppressive marriage. This movie is heavily influenced by Mishiali’s own upbringing in patriarchal Cyprus. »Pause« is a drama with dark humour that sinks viewers into the world of Elpida and makes them question the position of women as mothers, wives and daughters.

April 2020 – Lockdown. Etienne, a film director, and his brother Paul, a music journalist, are confined together in their childhood home with their new partners Morgane and Carole. Every room, every object, reminds them of their childhood, and the memories of the absents - their parents, their neighbors…This compels them to measure the distance that separates them from each other and the roots they share, those of their ground zero. As the world around them is becoming increasingly unsettling, unreality, and even a disturbing strangeness, invades their daily gestures and actions.
