Brett and Bart Maverick (and in later seasons, their English cousin, Bo) are well dressed gamblers who migrate from town to town always looking for a good game. Poker (5 card draw) is their favorite but they've been known to play such odd card games as Three-toed Sloth on occasion. The show would occasionally feature both or all three Mavericks, but usually would rotate the central character from week to week. Cross-over appearances from the other Warner Brothers western programs were an occasional feature. First seen as a drama, the show began to develop a sense of humor in the first season that carried it through it's run.

Kassa Kassa is a tragicomic series set in the Stans brothers' supermarket, a small, independent neighborhood supermarket on the verge of bankruptcy. The colleagues form a close, warm group of friends, but their well-intentioned actions often make things even more difficult.

Taddeus is the manager of the Grand Hotel Excelsior. The Summer season begins in May and since then many odd persons frequent the hotel. There is Ilde Vivaldi, in love with Taddeus and the boxer Pericle Coccia who has an important match and falls in love with Maria. There is the Mago di Segrate trying to win world fame by levitating thirty meters high. And there is the waiter Egisto whose daughter is in a Swiss College believing her father is a man of importance.

曾经热闹一时的红包场如今已走向没落，场老板突然离世，黑道债主找上门来，向老板的儿子阿德追讨债务。阿德满心无奈，却根本无力偿还，只能试图逃避。就在这时，一位神秘女子前来寻找阿德的父亲。几位老歌手一眼便认出，她竟是当年的红牌歌星。众人纷纷怂恿阿德为歌星策划一场复出秀，以此赚钱还债。在操办演出的过程中，阿德逐渐理解了父亲多年来一直坚守歌厅、始终不曾放弃的内心想法。
