远古时期，山青水绿，万物生长。某条河流的尽头，一座大山静静注视着三叶虫等远古生物的繁衍。时间如此漫长，它不知不觉睡去，错过了恐龙的灭亡和冰河时代的到来。地壳变化令它庞大的身躯断裂，滚动过程中更慢慢形成了一个小山丘。直到某天，睡石的万古长梦被惊醒，人类砍掉了它头顶上不多的石头，它没办法只得躲到一旁继续沉睡，可是不久又被人拉到了磨坊里。战争到来，睡石被军人加工成炮弹，好不容易凭借身上的三叶虫化石住进了博物馆，结果又遭到熊孩子的毒手。 　　历次的暂难让它的身躯越来越小，它如尘如土，无尽的旅程仍未结束……
