A man is fired from his job. Having no more options, he decides to go find work abroad, leaving behind his wife and daughter. Months pass and his family hear no word from him. A stranger, a mechanic, arrives in town in search of work. His eyes wander to the beautiful young woman whom he hears no longer has a husband. 本片将近距离展现受气候影响的灾民们艰难求生的过程。这些灾民大多是无家可归的妇女，她们每日往返于河道之间，前往不同的地方打工，同时盼望着能重返家园。

梅丽莎、米尔卡、诺埃米和雨果完成了义务教育阶段的课程，但还没有成功取得学徒资格。现在，他们需要延长一年的课程，以便有重组帮助他们找到一个职位。 　　选择职业、申请工作、参加工作面试、说服雇主和家人以及为自己的未来制定计划：这些都是需要采取的关键步骤，也是难以达到的目标。
