Doamaiger D是一部昭和风的机器人动画，浓浓的怀旧风格，将于2015年1月播出。故事背景设定在2015年的京都。叙述甘匠堂第十五代店主「京极大次郎」在接受电视媒体的采访时，意外发现了沉睡在店铺地底下、上一代所留下的巨大点心制作机器人「Doamaiger D」。而就在这一刻，京都街上也出现了凶暴的机械怪兽，身为点心师父的大次郎将会驾驶著Doamaiger D，展开一场场用点心捍卫京都的战斗……

We accompany the characters in some stretches of their path—many years separate each of the episodes that make up the film, and that distance reveals changes through what remains. This is not a film about earthquakes, but about small transformations, and the marks of time can be seen not only in the actors’ bodies, but also in that other omnipresent protagonist that is Seoul, whose vitality invades every shot.
