2019年4月7日，第二十六届北京大学生电影节在北京师范大学学生活动中心开幕。 4月7日至28日，期间会有影片展映、学术交流研讨会等活动。

第24届北京大学生电影节，于2017年5月26日晚闭幕并揭晓各奖项。本届电影节共有34部影片入围，由电影学者和大学生组成的评委共同从中评选出各大奖项。 　　程耳导演的《罗曼蒂克消亡史》获最佳影片奖，冯小刚凭借《我不是潘金莲》获最佳导演奖，张译、万茜分别凭借《追凶者也》《你好，疯子！》获得最佳男女演员奖。

北京的交通拥堵被称为世界首都之最，市内机动车保有量在20年内猛增了15倍，甚至超过了东京，而交通事故频发、道路设计上的失误，公共交通的不足又加剧了拥堵。另外机动车尾气排放超标也是造成空气污染的原因之一，使得北京终日被雾霾笼罩，危及人体健康。针对这种现状，政府采取了哪些措施，普通市民又是如何看待的呢？节目组选取北京的一个夏日，连续24小时进行拍摄，记录北京的拥堵实态。

故事发生在一座坐落于边郊的小镇之中，玛丽（布朗什·加丁 Blanche Gardin 饰）的生活并不富裕，一家人的主要收入来源都依靠丈夫的家庭津贴，玛丽人生唯一的希望就是她的儿子。然而，有一天，玛丽震惊的发现，自己的一段性爱录像竟然流出到了网络之上，她非常担心自己的儿子会看到这段录像。 　　伯特兰（德尼·波达利德斯 Denis Podalydès 饰）非常爱自己的妹妹，而这个可怜的女孩正在遭受一段令她受伤颇深的网络暴力的骚扰。克里斯汀（科琳娜·马谢罗 Corinne Masiero 饰）是一名网约车司机，因为她在约车网站上评分太低而导致业绩低下。三个社会的底层人士，在某一日，他们突然发现他们糟糕的生活或许正是互联网和社交媒体造成的，于是三人一拍即合，决定为自己讨回公道。

丹（亚当·佩里 Adam Pally 饰）在一所大学里担任着教授的职务，虽然名号听上去十分风光，但实际上，丹在学校里并不受同事和学生们的欢迎，因为智商远超越常人的他时常流露出许多怪异的想法和举动。不仅如此，在他那充满了商业精英和成功者的家族里，学术成就累累的丹丝毫不值得一提，被归属为失败者的范畴之内。 　　内心十分郁闷的丹发明了时间旅行机器，希望能够回到过去，改变自己失忆的人生。与此同时，一位名叫克里斯（Yassir Lester 饰）的在学校中人气极高的老师也在时间机器的作用之下回到了过去，但等待着他的却是和丹截然相反的遭遇。
