Ways of Seeing is a 1972 BBC four-part television series of 30-minute films created chiefly by writer John Berger and producer Mike Dibb. Berger's scripts were adapted into a book of the same name. The series and book criticize traditional Western cultural aesthetics by raising questions about hidden ideologies in visual images. The series is partially a response to Kenneth Clark's Civilisation series, which represents a more traditionalist view of the Western artistic and cultural canon.

Made in close collaboration with curators and researchers at the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam, this film marks not only a major re-presentation of the gallery’s collection but also the 125th anniversary of Van Gogh’s death. The Van Gogh Museum houses the largest collection of Vincent’s artistic output in the world, and features great works such as The Potato Eaters, Sunflowers, Irises, Autumn Blossoms, The Bedroom and many of his self-portraits. This film not only provides viewers with the moving and inspiring experience of seeing Vincent’s iconic masterpieces on the big screen but also examines new insights and interpretation from specially invited guests including curators, historians and artists. 遥远的历史和我们现代人有什么关联，这其中科学的发展又更新了什么认知呢？《三种视线》节目通过历史、科学、医学三个维度的视角，向观众深入浅出地讲解一个个医学有关的故事。 　　首期节目中，从历史上伊丽莎白一世的肖像画展开，讲述当时崇尚白色皮肤的风尚，西方（皇室贵族）如此，东方日本（艺伎）也是一样。接着讲到当时的人为了美白无所不用其极，甚至大量涂抹铅和汞等有毒物质，从而开始科学部分的讲解。进而讲到和皮肤相关的医疗知识，人们如何美白、如何面对紫外线、脸上的斑点、皮肤疾病等等。节目常驻成员是电影演员金锡勋、主持人苏涩志、作家郭在锡。

13岁的少女李玩，由于父母离异，与爷爷奶奶生活在一起。正处于青春期的她渴望了解、陪伴和爱。在“要听话”的中国式教育里，李玩也完成了属于她的“成人礼”。电影中，父亲希望通过一条宠物小狗完成与女儿的和解与沟通，李玩为狗取名“爱因斯坦”，暗潮涌动的青春因“爱因斯坦”意外走失，开启了它汹涌又无奈的成长之路。
