Dave in the dry and lonesome Californian desert and April in simulation for a Mars mission in the Utah desert. Through the hustle, the pain and the laughs, we are whisked away to an unfamiliar world, yet quickly discover the souls we encounter are perhaps not that different from our own.

Tove and Tooti in Europe is a documentary charting the voyages through Europe of author Tove Jansson and graphic artist Tuulikki Pietilä. 　　It is a lyrical and sometimes hilarious film essay on the "old Europe”, experienced by travellers and observers, of times when people used to wander, share a joke, pause and, sometimes, even stop. 　　The film takes us to Paris, Venice, London, Madrid and Dublin; Iceland, Ireland and Corsica.
