At that point nobody realized the incredible impact Gauguin's work was to have on modern art. 　　Art critic and broadcaster Waldemar Januszczak has written and directed this examination of a man who was not only a great painter but sculptor, wood carver, musician, print maker, journalist and ceramicist. As well as telling the remarkable story of Gauguin's life, Januszczak also celebrates Gauguin's achievements and examines the various accusations of sexual misconduct, familial neglect and racism that are frequently made against him. 　　The film contains many of Gauguin's masterpieces and includes paintings recently put on show at the Hermitage in St Petersburg which haven't been seen in public since their disappearance during World War II.

Katsura Funakoshi: Whispering Gaze observes the visionary sculptor Katsura Funakoshi as he quietly breathes life into camphor wood. Take a look as he works in his atelier, preps for exhibitions, and speaks at lectures. The simple, warm and gentle figures carved out by Funakoshi can be attributed to the harmony of precise calculations and accidental occurrences. His human-like sculptures draw in beholders with their distant marble gaze as if pondering philosophical thoughts and projecting subtle yet bold emotions.

唐末宋初，东海一带，瘟疫肆虐，民不聊生。两位仙人汉钟离（施羽饰）和铁拐李（吴岱融饰）为拯救苍生百姓，不约而遇，遂决定往东海之东的药岛采药。然而却与花龙太子大打出手，铁拐李情急之下将花龙打成重伤。东海龙王因此告上天庭，却不满玉帝裁决，誓言封锁东海，不论仙凡两界，无人可达东海之东的药岛。太白金星道出只有八仙俱全，方能安然过海。玉帝遂遣汉钟离和铁拐李两仙下凡，找寻尚未成仙的其余六仙：韩湘子（郭晋安饰）、何仙姑（康华饰）、吕洞宾（何中华饰）、蓝采和（毛林颖饰）、张果老（陈大伟饰）和曹国舅（朱海飞饰），合八仙之力，渡过东海，采药以济苍生。 　　本部于2009年播出，由香港亚视推出的四十集电视连续剧《八仙全传》，自开播以来受到了观众的一致好评。这部众星云集的古装神话电视连续剧，由郭晋安、贾青、郭羡妮、吴岱融、何中华、康华等主演，群星再次全情演绎了八仙在成仙之前的传奇故事。
