Depuis l’enfance, j’ai eu la chance de traverser deux mini dépressions de bonheur et j’attends, tout à fait serein, la troisième. Ça me suffit pour croire en une certaine beauté de la vie et avoir le plaisir de tenter de la filmer sous toutes ses formes : arbres, animaux, dieux, humains… et cela à l’heure où l’amour est vif. L’innocence, le cinéaste en a perdu une partie. C’est si délicat à repérer autour de soi, si difficile à ne pas perdre au tournage. Ma reconnaissance va à ceux que vous regarderez à l’écran. 　　Pour tenir tête au temps, j’ai une parade qui est de fouiller dans mon stock d’émotions et d’images anciennes. Non pour retrouver ce qui ne reviendra pas mais pour deviner dans l’hiver les signes du printemps. Cela permet de recommencer encore une journée d’un pas aisé.

Pablo’s life is ruled by drugs and by the intense and oppressive relationship he has with his mother, a former cocaine mule who escaped from Colombia and with whom he shares a small house in the outskirts of Rome. 　　After her death, following her relapse into drug addiction caused by his emotional involvement with a young Colombian girl mixed up in the smuggling ring, Pablo’s guilt pushes him to try and bring her ashes back to Colombia. 　　When the embassy denies his request on the basis of the fake identity and passport of his mother, the protagonist will be forced to tackle the journey by ingesting ovules containing ashes instead of drugs and he will find himself in his home country for the first time, desperately looking for redemption and his mother’s house on the Madgalena river.

1990年前，苏联解体前的最后关头。 　　在莫斯科的一个火车站旁，许多在新时代无所适从的老人占据了一片荒地，居住在废旧机车和垃圾堆中。他们白天外出乞讨，晚上回“家”。其中有画家菲玛、他的哥哥作曲家费佳、博士工程师所罗门，他们选出了自己的“总统”——过去的党干部米佳。 　　一天晚上，外星人对“总统”和所罗门显现，承诺将会开来一艘大飞船，把他们所有人带去一个伊甸园。“总统”将此事告诉大家，人们对此将信将疑。 　　一个美国商人想在这片地皮上建安全套厂和五星级宾馆。政府派员前来撵走住户，想将他们送往养老院、精神病院和监狱，但他们遭到了顽强的抵抗，他们的企图被挫败了。 　　州委书记过去的厨娘、佣人卡佳到莫斯科看自己的儿子，儿子把她的钱全都拿走买酒，喝醉后把母亲揍了一顿，赶出家门。 　　菲玛救下了卡佳，准备和她一起乞讨，两人却因“流氓罪”被关入监狱。同处一监室的是苏日战争老兵、解放牡丹江的洛吉诺夫上校，三人在狱中成了好朋友。洛吉诺夫答应和她们一起前去应许的天堂。 　　费佳被爱情冲昏了头脑，他爱上了沦为妓女、前来投宿的大学生让娜。大家一同前来庆祝他们的婚礼。这时，别墅的主人回来了，原来这根本不是费佳的别墅。一行人再次被投入监狱中，费佳含恨去世…… 　　回到住处后，大家一起团聚庆祝所罗门的生日。突然，天上降下了应许的蓝雪，所有人出门准备迎接外星人的飞船。然而面对他们的却是防暴警察，政府甚至出动坦克，将他们的住所夷为平地。千钧一发之际，他们启动了蒸汽机车，奇迹发生了……
